New members are welcome to join at any time throughout the year and will be asked to pay for the remainder of that year at £1.00 per month for each number. Each member’s number is entered into the monthly draw and winners are notified by post and a list of winning number is displayed on the notice board in the foyer of Pinhoe surgery.

Fundrasing

Charity Shop

Our charity shop opened in April 2012 and was a new fundraising venture for Clyst Caring Friends. It has proven to be very successful and is now our main source of fundraising income.

The shop currently open Monday - Friday from 9.30 - 3.30pm and Saturday mornings until 12.00. The shop is at the back of the village store and post office in Broadclyst.

We sell clothing, shoes and handbags, bedding and curtains, jewellery, bric-a-brac and household items, toys and books. Good quality donations are always welcome although we are unable to accept electrical or larger items such as televisions, computers and furniture.

Coffee Mornings

To help raise funds for Clyst Caring Friends we have various items on sale at our weekly and monthly coffee mornings.

This includes handmade cards, cakes, preserves, bric-a-brac, plants and books. A raffle prize draw is also held at the coffee mornings to help raise funds.
