Our Services

At Clyst Caring Friends we run a variety of services which offer support to elderly, disabled and infirm members of the local community. Read on for more information on the different services we offer.

Luncheon Club

The Clyst Centre, Broadclyst Surgery, Broadclyst EX5 3EJ

On the second Monday of every month, we run a luncheon club at The Clyst Centre in Broadclyst. This is a great opportunity for those who are normally housebound to socialise with other local people and enjoy a good lunch at a very reasonable price.

If required our car service can be booked to provide transport to and from the lunch. Please let us know if you have specific dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

For more information or to arrange attendance call the Clyst Caring Friends office on 01392 464940. Please leave a message if we are unable to take your call.

Transport Service

For patients who are unable to drive or make use of public transport, we can provide transport to the surgery at Pinhoe or Broadclyst or other local medical appointments such as the chiropodist or dentist.

If you wish to use this facility you may consult with your doctor or nurse who will advise Clyst Caring Friends that you are in need of transport. You can also contact our office manager Ann Unwin on 01392 464940. Once you are registered with our car service please phone us to give us the time of your appointment and we will arrange transport for you.

Passengers are asked to contribute towards the cost of their journey. Information on current charges is available from the Clyst Caring Friends office

To arrange transport ring the Clyst Caring Friends office on 01392 464940. The office is open mornings only. Please leave a message if you call outside of office hours and we will get back to you.
